Can it be love?

This movie just popped up in my facebook feeds. It touched me. Watch it. It might do the same to you. But do it before reading on. I wouldn’t want to spoil it for you.
And? Did you like it? I did. So I watched it again. And I’m pretty sure now it in fact is a sublime/subliminal 12-minute commercial. Hell yeah, been in advertising too long, I suppose. But wouldn’t it be fantastic if more ads were like this one: entertaining, funny, nicely told, touching stories? Wouldn’t it be great if we could ‘touch’ our audience instead of trying to convince them? Let’s make them fall in love, ok?

Mmm personally I’m not quit convinced but I might be wrong (again). Anyway tikitag might as well be The Next Big Thing. It looks simple: you have stickers on which you can put info with the help of an USB-tikitag-reader-writer. Once programmed you can use the stickers to tag anything. Other users can ‘read’ the info from the tag. For example: I upload all my Facebook, Plaxo, Del.icio.us, Last.fm links on a tikitag and stick it on my business card. When you get my card, you read the tag and you have immediate access to all my online info.
Bottlenecks? The reader. I would have bought the thing yesterday if it used my webcam (as this monster does) or my mobile as a reader but who needs another piece of hardware to carry around?
Tikitag goes beta October 1st, meanwhile learn more here it you can take the accent. Good luck guys!

Voor de lancering van het top of the range Mercedes-Benz AMG model kozen ze voor deze toch wel knappe website.

Tuesday evening, I was a guest at my ex-employer Boondoggle (the former I-merge) in my hometown Leuven. Jesse Wynants, Dominique Poncin, Tom ‘Tetten’ De Bruyn and godfather JVDB presented their new blog, B-side. The crowd was great, the HU-food was tasty but B-side left me a bit hungry, to be quiet honest. Like the flip side off the old school single, B-side gives us an inside view on ‘the live behind the scenes’ @ Boondoggle: personal employee blogs, fun pics and movies they posted on Flickr and YouTube, del.iciou.us tags and some absurdities.
I probably expected the impossible, like blogging re-invented? But I didn’t find any content novelties (Or did I miss anything, guys?). And for me that’s just what made Boonbloggle ‘incontournable’ in the Belgian blogosphere: content that is inspiring, open-mind, thought provoking, fun to read.. Surely that won’t change, but for the moment that’s exactly what my RSS feeds me daily…
